What to do when a channel change is delayed

Distinguish a queued operation from a failed one and avoid duplicate changes.

Before you begin

Check that the channel is enabled for your workspace. An Admin, Developer, or Manager can inspect Online Store > Sync Log for supported storefront integrations. A channel's order may still appear in Orders even when its management page is not available to your role.

Check the status

  1. Find the product or order in Serat and note the last action you took. Check its current status before trying to repeat it.

  2. For Shopify or WooCommerce, ask an authorized teammate to inspect the corresponding platform in Sync Log. Check the running operations, queue, and log for a matching entry.

  3. If it is queued or running, allow the operation to finish and refresh the relevant Serat and channel views. A successful save in Serat does not guarantee that the external channel has already updated.

  4. If it failed, record the visible error and ask an integration administrator to investigate. Do not keep changing the same product or clearing a queue to force a retry.

  5. If there is no matching entry, check whether this channel and the specific product or order are eligible for synchronization in your workspace.

Avoid duplicate work

Do not recreate an order because its status has not changed immediately. Payment, fulfillment, and synchronization are separate states. When a marketplace action is rejected, inspect that order's supported actions and confirm whether another teammate already completed it before submitting it again.
