Manage a connected Shopify storefront

Review menus, theme changes, and analytics without confusing a save with a publication.

Before you begin

Shopify controls appear under Online Store > Shopify for Admin and Developer roles when that workspace has a connected store. Some account or integration settings require Admin access even if a Developer can view the Shopify page.

Review a menu

  1. Open the Menu tab and select the intended menu before editing. Save or discard unsaved changes before switching to another menu.

  2. Arrange the visible items and any filters, then preview the collection and product order where offered.

  3. Save and wait for the job to finish. Check the result in the connected storefront; a queued save is not yet proof that the live menu changed.

Review a theme change

Use the Theme tab to inspect the current workspace and the available preview or publish controls. Keep draft changes separate from publication. Check the affected pages and mobile layout before a deliberate publish action; after publishing, verify the live storefront. The Analytics tab reports Shopify-related activity but does not edit the theme.

If a job fails, record the visible status and ask the responsible administrator to investigate. Do not repeat a publication blindly or assume that a Serat preview is identical to the live Shopify theme.
