Coordinate with messages and notifications
Keep team conversations together and control notification preferences.
Before you begin
Signed-in teammates can open Messages. Browser push notifications depend on browser permission and workspace availability; in-app notifications are separate.
Send a team message
Open Messages and choose an existing conversation or use the new-conversation control.
Open the conversation to read its history and mark it read. Write a message and send it; the conversation also supports files where the composer offers them.
Return to the conversation list to find other discussions. You can rename a conversation from its detail view when that control is available.
Review notifications
Open the notifications control in the workspace to review unread items grouped by urgency, activity, and information. Expand a group or older items to see more.
Mark individual items read or use Mark all as read if you have reviewed them.
For browser alerts, open Settings > Account and use the push-notification toggle. Allow notifications in the browser when prompted.
Opening the Messages list alone does not mark conversations read; open a conversation to do that. If browser alerts cannot be enabled, check whether your browser supports them, permission was denied, or the workspace has not configured push. Ask an administrator if notifications remain unavailable.
