Issue a customer invoice or delivery document
Check the sale, document type, payment and tax before submitting an official document.
Before you begin
Use a customer transaction that you have checked for the correct legal name, items, amounts, tax and payment state. Document issuance may require configured invoicing services and suitable permissions. An issued document is not a draft: verify all details before submitting it.
Prepare the document
Open Customers, select the correct customer, and find the transaction in their history.
Choose the available Issue invoice action. Review which document kinds are offered, such as a basic invoice, invoice with delivery note, or delivery note only. Previously issued kinds can limit the remaining options.
Check the tax rate and whether item prices include tax. Review the displayed net, tax and total, and confirm payment rows match the actual transaction.
If the document includes transport details, review the required movement information, destination and optional note. Submit only when the customer and transaction are correct.
Wait for the issuance result, then open the resulting document from the transaction and confirm its status.
If issuance fails
Do not repeatedly submit while the result is unknown. Refresh the transaction and check whether a document was already issued. Correct any missing customer or transport details reported by the form, then ask an authorized colleague for help if the failure persists.
