Ring up a sale and take payment
Build a cart at the correct location and finish a cash or card sale.
Before you start
Sign in with access to Sales and select the selling location. Check that the product has stock at that location and that the customer, if needed, is the right one. Payment options and receipt handling depend on the configured store workflow.
Make a sale
In Sales, select a location before scanning or looking up a product.
Scan a barcode or search for the item. For style/color QR items, confirm the intended sizes and quantities before adding them.
Review cart quantity, unit price, discounts, and total. Attach a customer if the sale belongs to their account; check any customer discount displayed.
Choose the available cash or card payment option, follow the payment prompts, and confirm the transaction once. Record or print the receipt if offered.
Check the completed transaction and verify the stock at the selling location.
Troubleshooting
A product-not-found message means the scan did not resolve to a sale item; verify the barcode and product details. The cart may refuse quantities greater than location stock. If a payment appears to stall, check whether the transaction was recorded before trying again; do not assume a second submission is safe. For a business customer without a destination location, a sale may proceed but invoice issuance can fail until the destination is configured.
